Good news, our demo units of DJI Mavic Pro Combo have arrived and we experienced the thrill of our first flights indoor and outdoors. It is an incredible machine and is even smaller than we envisaged.
Our first shipment for delivery to customers is arriving next week as per our last update, although at this stage we only know it will be a small number. However, the following week we will get a good number so if you miss out this week, there is a high chance you will receive the following week. If you have only paid the deposit we will contact you a day or two before it is due to arrive to collect the balance. We will be sending all Mavic Pro and Mavic Pro Combo's out by Courier Post overnight delivery FREE.
The DJI Mavic Pro Fly More Combo will be arriving first, and if you wish to upgrade to the combo pack, you can without losing your place in the back order queue. For those who ordered extra batteries, they can only come by sea-freight due to Airline IATA regulations. So spare batteries are not expected until the end of December. If you order the combo pack you will get the 2 spare batteries as IATA regulations allow them to be air-freighted with the Mavic.
We placed and paid for our order with DJI which covers the DJI Mavic you have on back-order with us back in September so if you read DJI latest news release (attached below) which says they will take 7-8 weeks to clear backlog don't be alarmed. We should get all our stock during November. So if you have any friends wanting one any deposits placed in the next few weeks they should get delivery late November.
If you wish to see the demo model it will be in our Christchurch store Friday 4th, Saturday 5th, Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th Nov. Then at the Canterbury A&P Show at the Trade & Feature Pavilion Site T67-T69 from Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th November, where we will be flying it indoors.
